Dear Parish Family,

 

The Pastoral Council is moving forward in organizing and developing our local approach to implementing the Dioceses of Des Moines Strategic Vision Initiative Cultivating Connections in Christ.  We are forming a Implementation Committee to help us facilitate this initiative.  It has been proposed that the committee will include the Pastoral Council Members and a couple of younger families that are now developing their Domestic Church and can represent the views and needs of our young Parish members.

 

Our Parish leadership has chosen to focus first on the Preparing Disciples for the Domestic Church Priority for our first local initiative.  We recognize that the Family (the Domestic Church) is at the heart of Discipleship and Mission. Below is a printable "toolkit" provided by the Dioceses to assist us in developing our local approach to this Priority.  (If you would like a hard copy of this please reach out to Sarah Gehringer at the office.)  We will use this as a starting point for our discussion and planning for implementation.
